our robot met our expectations and was designed to search 4 rooms and extinguish a candle. it ran off encoders,sonar sensors, and a line sensor.I did all the programming and ivan built the robot and parts for it. it met all expectations except the calibration could have been improved. I enjoyed programming in robotc as it is very user friendly. in all the programming had  6 functions we used in the firefight. It had a flame check function, a drive to black line function, a drive distance function, 2 turn functions, and drive until x distance away from wall function.

hacked toy


cookie monster has been hacked to bow to dark forces of the forsaken as they have promised him to be king of cookie island should he aid them in the destruction of the forces of the alliance. it uses a bi directional motor and LDR to detect the light levels to tell it when to bow to the forces of darkness.A relay helps control the direction of the motor. It stays bowed in the presence of the forsaken darkness and will rise to their absence.

the relay is set up with a push button to change what light is on.
 the relay set up with a push button and capacitor to give it the blinker effect but the relay thresh hold was too high so it didnt work with the old batterys
